The Ventresca is the most prized part of the tuna. This delicacy is obtained from the fattiest part of the tuna, i.e. the one that surrounds the abdominal cavity. Its delicate flavor and velvety consistency make it an excellent product and much appreciated by lovers of seafood cuisine. Excellent for any recipe but to fully appreciate it we recommend trying it plain, without seasonings.
In particular, this ventresca is made from tuna fish caught in the FAO37 area (Mediterranean Sea) and expertly processed in Salento.
